Does the Bible actually say no alien life can exist?
The Bible clearly teaches that humanity is uniquely made in the image of God. But does it explicitly say human beings are the only intelligent physical creatures God ever created anywhere in the universe?
We are not claiming extraterrestrial life exists. NASA says it has found no credible evidence of extraterrestrial life and no evidence that UAPs are extraterrestrial. AARO also says it has found no evidence of extraterrestrial technology. But the cultural question is very real, and many people — including many Christians — are asking what Scripture actually says.
In this episode we ask four questions:
Where does the Bible explicitly say no alien life exists?
Does the image of God mean humanity is unique — or cosmically alone?
Would alien life disprove Scripture, or only challenge certain interpretations?
If aliens do not exist, could belief in alien contact become a great deception?
The world is asking, “Are we alone?”
The church should also ask, “Are we saying more than Scripture says?”
